After updating to 1097 getting error, "Trade Order Error: Parent price is more than 25% different than original Attached order price. As well, "Use Non- Chart Data from Remote Instances" seems to have been removed from Global Settings > General Settings with 1097. Please provide all settings required to trade AMP/TTNet (SC instance two) and IQFeed (SC instance one) both live and real time with version 1097. Thanks. |

Before receiving the response above I noticed that my issue above did not affect the trading dom, only trading from a chart. Presumably because the trading dom is not using any remote data from IQFeed which has different decimal point placement. I'd like to change to SC Real Time and SC Market Statistics with AMP/TTNet to alleviate the issue above but am weighing this against my heavy use of NYA Global Composite Volume and more NYSE TICK and NYSE Net Issues history with IQFeed. Are you planning to add a symbol for NYA (NYSE) Global Composite Volume and more history for market statistics specifically NYSE TICK and NYSE NET ISSUES? BTW, I keep finding ways to improve and simplify my trading with SC, congrats on a great product!!! |

If the trading DOM does not use data from remote instance, then it will not be affected by the recent change with using data from a remote instance. We have to check on NYA (NYSE) Global Composite Volume. Gradually the history will build up for NYSE TICK and NYSE NET ISSUES. You can continue to use IQ Feed for these if you need more history. The decimal point issue will not have any affect upon market statistics or indexes because those are not something which are traded through TT. Dear Sierra Chart's Staff, every time I set a order by the Trade window or directly on the chart, I got this kind of error message in the Log: Trade Order Error: Parent price (1.319360) is more than 25% different than original Attached order price (2.616150). Attached Order not modified. Internal order ID: 7896 | 2015-08-05 04:40:06 * What did I mistake? My Sierra chart version is 1282. Thanks in advance for your answer. Best regards. This is very unusual for you to encounter such an error. We think we know what the problem is. What do you have the Limit and Stop Offset set to for the Attached Orders? For example on Usd/Cad if I can set e buy market order like: buy@1.3084 stop@1.3076 target@1.3135 Therefore in Targets area I set a flag in 'Price' and I write the prices in the 'Limit Offset' field. In the Set area I didn't change nothing. So Limit and Stop Offset are: Primary Orders 4.00 Attached orders 4.00 Offset Type: Ticks Auto-Set prices etc: 10 Max chase etc:4 Move To Be atc:0 I got this message: Trade Order Error: Parent price (1.308460) is more than 25% different than original Attached order price (0.000860). The Stop/Limit Offset Attached Order fields cannot contain an actual Target price value. You need to enter the offset from the parent order price.
