This is because people want these bars to be manipulated and not represent the actual true prices. For what reason, we do not know.

The closing price you see for a bar is not necessarily accurate.

Please refer to the documentation here for a complete description:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#RangeBarStandard

And you also want to make sure you have a tick by tick data configuration:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php

We cannot offer further help. You may want to use Range Per Bar-True to get a true representation. Range bars are one of the most manipulated bar types. Why users want them manipulated, makes no sense. Generally the reason is they see how this is done with other programs and then it gets established and they think it has to be this way otherwise the bars are wrong. This is why we created Range Per Bar-True.

Thank you for the answer and suggestion.
Can you pls be more specific, namely I wanna understand how does it happens and why do I see the bars like that because I build the spreadsheet sistem based on them.
So in my case I don't understand this concept of manipulation on a 4 tick range bar.
When I run the simulation i don't get the signal on those bars with equal high and last price (if there should be a signal) and they are drawn as they should be drawn. On "live" i have a problem with them.
I will figure something out.

I just want to expend my knowledge becuse I didn't hear of it before, can you pls give Us an brief example or explanation how the manipulation is done.

thank you
