At some point in the future it would be really helpful to use some form of semantic versioning.

Users would know if an update is just for bug fixes, or if will introduce new features, and if they break existing compatibility or not.

I love to update often but I never really know what I'm going to get and I haven't found any consistency with the current vs prerelease branches. For example, often times a named release on the what's new page will be a pre-release, but has to have several incremental upgrades to be "now working properly".

What kind of update frequency do you recommend for most users? Only the named version #'s on what's new?

I love your software.
