Our use case. We have a tower where we run our algorithm. We would like to run Sierra Chart and our algorithm on the Tower and then trade on a laptop (the program is to heavy to run directly on the laptop). We have read the documentation on how to set up a Remote Server -> Client Instance. We established an Instance and successful populated the client with historic ES data. The Server and Client are on separate networks. The data was not real time though. Can we receive real time data on the client? Can we trade on the client ? We have read the documentation |

The data was not real time though. Can we receive real time data on the client? Yes this is not allowed due to market data rules. We have to implement a workaround for this. If you are using data from an exchange though it is going to require that you pay a second exchange fee.? Can we trade on the client ? Yes you can and is currently supported.

Thank you for the help. This is a massive help. One last question. If I have automated entries on the server will those automated entries also appear on the client and we can then manage those entries on the client.
