Hi,

I am using a Spreadsheet System for Trading for Sell Entry and the Attached Trade Window (OCO) for Sell Exit, but the offset is Exiting at 5% positive instead of 5% negative. For example, the short Entry Price is $1.00, but the Exit Price is $1.05. Every single trade is doing this when I backtest--exiting at 5% positive which results in all trades having a loss.

I have attached a word document with screenshots of the Trade Activity log, Attached Trade Window, Settings and I'm also attaching the Chartbook.

In Documentation --> Attached Orders --> Using Attached Orders and Attached Order Settings --> Offset Values, it says the followings, "The offsets always entered as positive numbers. The Attached Order feature will automatically convert the offset to the proper price value based upon whether the parent order is a Buy or Sell order and the Attached Order Type."

The controls on the Targets tab are set to the following:

Offset Type: Percent
Type: Stop:Stop
Stop Offset: 5.00
Group: OCO Group 1
Quantity: (this is adjusting automatically based on the Sell Entry Quantity from the Spreadsheet Study for Trading)
Move to Breakeven for Stop: None
TIF: Day

Use Attached Orders is enabled on the Main tab.

In the spreadsheet system for trading, columns K (Buy Entry), L (Buy Exit (Sell)), and N (Sell Exit (Buy)) are all blank. Column M has a formula for the Sell Entry which is working correctly.

In Global Profit/Loss Management, Flatten Positions at Set Time is not enabled.

Automatic Trading is Enabled for Global and Chart.

Trade Simulation Mode is on.

The OCO Configuration has been saved.
The Charbook has been saved.
The Speadsheet Study for Trading has been Saved.

I have read all of the documentation for "Attached Orders" and "Automated Trading Management", but I cannot determine why this is happening.

I should note that I also tried adjusting the Stop Offset from "5.00" to "-5.00" and all of the trades on the Trade Activity log were negative profit and almost exactly the same (within 1% difference).

If someone can provide some guidance on how I can get this resolved, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

This makes sense when using a Stop for a Short/Sell Entry.

Seems like you want to use a Target instead.

If there any issues with the calculation of prices, it would have to relate to the bid, ask and last trade prices at the time of the order submission. There is not going to be anything wrong otherwise.
