Simple for you. (From your little pain in the ass)
I think I finally figured things out enough to actually
articulate a question. Here it is.

So I have a chart (chart 13) that I have a study that
I attached to it. The study uses the spreadsheet.

So as I have learned, "sheet 13" is the page in the spreadsheet
file that is associated with that chart.

Right so far?

But when I look at the spreadsheet (I think I learned this last time from
experience) it says "make all changes to this sheet on sheet 1".

Is that correct? If so, then if/when I go to sheet 1 to make changes
(for sheet 13) how does it know that I am making a change on sheet 13?
Is it because after I make the change, I have to go and save the study?
Even so, it doesn't know that I am looking at sheet 13, etc?

So let me know if I am right about changing sheet 1 to change sheet 13,
and how it knows I am changing sheet 13?

Thanks

ALan

By default, the Sheet# corresponds to the chart #. However, you can force it to use another sheet by changing either the Chart Data Output Sheet Number or the Formula Source Sheet Number in the spreadsheet study settings.

Here is the documentation:
