Cant delete in laptop

Dear friends A funny question The "delete" button on my macbook pro (located next to the += button. i use parallel windows on macbook for sierra) does not erase a line i draw or a text i write. it does not erease noting. on my desktop i use the delete button next to the "end" "page up" buttons to erase but on a leptop the keyboard does not have these keys. so please help me find a way to make the "delete" button work or tell me what button does that already on a leptop thanks Michael |

First thing to check is that you have not remapped the Delete key for some other purpose. And if so, clear it. i couldnt find a way to see if it is assignd to something but it isnt doing nothing when i press it so probably it isnt assigned. as a safty bet, i did "restore to defults" and still the key does not delete any other ideas? |

On your laptop there is probably a Delete key equivalent somewhere. You may need to use the Fn key in combination or something else. We cannot help you any further with this, as each laptop is different so it's not possible for us to say exactly how it is accessed on your specific laptop.
