Questions about trade service log and padding at the top and bottom of a chart

1) The trade service log pops up every time one of my stop entries is filled. It is enormously distracting. It is not selected in Global Settings >> General Trade Settings nor in Trade >> Trade Service Log. How do I turn it off?

2) I am using a Flex Renko chart with automatic scale range. The scale padding percentage is set to the default 2.00. The current chart is NQ, with prices around 12,750 and a scale about 50 points from top to bottom. The Compact ToolVal window shows 4 ticks of space at the top of the chart and only 2 at the bottom. Changing the percentage of padding does not alter these margins.

Only half of this space is available for stops. When the price is at the chart extremes, stops can be placed only 2 ticks above or 1 tick below. I need at least 4 ticks for stops, sometimes more.

What am I doing wrong? And is there a way to set the padding above and below the chart at a constant N ticks with automatic scale range?

Thanks.
