Hi,

I was wondering if it possible to enter a stop of any kind, that could:
- only be made smaller by the user once entered in order to manually trail profits for instance,
- never be increased to be farther away from both the entry price and its initial value when the average position is losing,
- still, be deleted by the user

This could help users set a software constraint to prevent them from moving their stops unfavorably, and force them to take their losses in conformance with their initial risk scenario.
I think that would be a dream feature, eventually saving a lot of money for many beginning traders.

Thank you,
F

Just found this post of mine 7 months later, and wanted to say I managed to implement a study that does just that.

Could you share the code, if possible?
