how to change size(height)of fixed tex tmessage screen?.

th1s screen comes out in approx 1 1/4X4 w standard panel regardless on number of#lines.and does not automatically adjust proportionately to the number of text lines making it difficult to scroll in large number of lines text. how can I adjust the height of the screen proportionately to the number of lines ? We are not able to reproduce any issue with the number of lines displaying in the Stationary Text tool. Please take a screenshot of what you are seeing and add it to this thread so we can see what you are seeing. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1606841120462.pn this does not show the text screen, I cannotmanouver take a screen shot with the text sceen opened, This is something new happening, ususually the text screen comes larger than 1 1/4 X4 accomodating maybe 10-15 lines of text which I could easily scoll up and down to the end. recently the scren comes a 1 1/4X 4 and is very tedius to scroll and cannot see more than 3-4 lines at a time Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-12-01 17:16:58

Im talking about the text screen window. when on I cannot maneuver anything to access the print screen directions

We need to know exactly what window you are having an issue with. Please tell us exactly what menu item you are selecting in order to open the window that you are referencing, or mouse click, or whatever. But tell us exactly what you are selecting so we know what window we are dealing with (Text Screen Window doesn't tell us anything). Im having trouble adjusting the size of a statioanry note screen window showimg only 3-4 lines of a total of about 23-30 lines at a time. its small height makes it difficult to scroll more than 1-2 lines at a time taking forever if I need to scroll to its top,as i said this happened only today and before this screen used to show 10-20 lines of text and it was easy to scroll about.. Im uusing version 2204/64. does this have anything to do with it?

when you select stationray text and start typing a small window opens to type the stationary text in. this is the window i'm having problems with.its small size not proportinal to the number of lines in it and not being able to adjust its size,

Thank you, now we understand what you are asking about. First, that window hasn't changed at all, it has always been that way. You can type into it and if you have more characters left to right, then it will wrap them as you continue to type. Additionally, if you have more lines than are displayed, you will get the scroll bar to be able to move up and down through your text. So even though it may be small, you can do what you need to with it. Also, that window cannot have its size changed. It is fixed to the size that it is. We are working on new windows throughout Sierra Chart in order to move away from the restrictions imposed by Microsoft Windows. You can find some of these in the newer versions of Sierra Chart, such as the General Trade Settings (Trade >> General Trade Settings). These new windows can have their size changed and are must faster to interact with than the other ones. It will be with this change that any new window functionality will be performed.
