hi. I've duplicated a chartbook as per instruction on site. everything looks the same as is should. I saved new chartbook to a different name. (the symbol name). here's the problem. the original CB has all windows set to symbol ES. none of the charts or other windows are linked.

When I goto the new CB I want to change the symbol to 6E. I do this through "find symbol". 6E appears on the chart as it should. The problem is, it also changes the ES to 6E on the original CB. This is pissing me off. The only thing I think it may be is the chart is labeled #14. i can't figure out how to remove that # or if that's the problem or not. see pic

I want the same CB layout for different symbols.

It is not possible to have any Chart Linking between Chartbooks. Therefore, what you are describing is not even technically possible.

There could be some confusion though. Maybe you are using this option to show charts across all Chartbooks:
Window and CW Menus: Window Always Visible (Window)

Make sure to disable this for any chart where it is enabled.
