Can I build the TPO Profile Chart in ACSIL

I am currently using NinjaTrader for a custom built TPO profiles indicator/study (similar to the default Sierra Charts one but with more stuff) but NinjaTrader is very slow and sluggish. My friend recommended I rebuild it in Sierra Charts (I'm a programmer). I tried out Sierra Charts and much prefer it. It's cleaner, faster, well built, etc. I read through your documentation and noticed you said the following: The source code for some studies, this includes the Numbers Bars, Volume by Price, TPO Profile Chart, TPO Value Area Lines, Volume Value Area Lines, Study/Price Overlay, Market Depth Historical Graph studies, are not provided or available. The main reason this is the case is because these are studies which are built into the main Sierra Chart core and not implemented using ACSIL. These studies require functionality which is beyond the current capabilities of ACSIL.
I just wanted to ask before I move onto other software options, whether there is ANYTHING I can do to build a TPO profiles study in Sierra Charts? (I really like Sierra Charts). Thanks, Matthew |

The basic answer is not really. ACSIL is not really designed for this level of advanced chart output and control over charts. But you have access to all of the data that Sierra Chart has through the DTC Protocol Server and other interfaces. So you can always develop a standalone TPO profile chart program at least utilizing the data.
