Hello,

I recently opened an LMAX spot FX account and got it all linked to Sierra, but have a few questions.

- I upgraded as per the requirements, but then lost the ability to split profiles so re-installed the prior version
- Please confirm I can run a new instance with spot FX linked to LMAX account and simultaneously run my futures account
- when i open a new instance, the data/trade service setting field is grayed out and i cannot select anything other than what is shown. it defaults to DTC- Sub instance [trading]

thanks

This issue has been resolved. Update instructions:

Yes you can but these are the proper instructions to follow for this:

There is also an issue with connecting to the server. I sit behind a corporate firewall and need to send instructions to my IT group to open the appropriate port. Can you provide something that I can forward along to them?

Otherwise, I have installed the copy of SC and transferred all data files, just now having this one last snag, which happens whenever I setup to a new
data feed.

Assume it's as simple as telling them to allow access to port 11096, correct?

Here is the error message.

I followed the steps and did successfully create a new instance and copied the destination file from the original to new instance, but for some reason, all my settings did not make it over.... tool configs, keyboard shortcuts, and all the little stuff that took me a ton of time to get it the way I like it, did not copy over. Can you tell me what i'm missing? and if there is anything i can do in order to not have to re-create the wheel again.

Refer to help topic 15:
Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation: Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation

You want to make sure to copy the KeyboardShortcuts and Sierra3 files. Make sure to do this when Sierra Chart is not running.

While running both of these instances, is it possible to create a keyboard shortcut to minimize/maximize the entire instance so can more effectively toggle between the two?
