As many people using TDA's thinkorswim platform, I thought I might reach out to see if there is a batch of settings you can tell me that I can enable that will make SC's number of trades charts look like thinkorswim's tick charts. I have already went through Help Topic 2 and 47.

Thanks,

Michael

Really we can only refer you to help topic 47:

I discovered the reason why the charts don't match, but it is up to Sierra chart to make a change. During the premarket prints above the current offer and below the current bid are trades that are being reported late and/or that are off-exchange. Thinkorswim correctly filters these trades out of their charts so that they don't look like the ones SC prints. Both charts match 100% pertaining to OHLC and volume until 8am when the exchange starts to report the late trades and Sierra Chart goes wild. I have attached two files showing with time stamps the difference between the two.

I am not going to continue my subscription to Sierra Chart unless I know this reporting problem is going to be fixed. I am willing to provide additional chart uploads and whatever I can do to assist. I really want to use SC for its speed and connection reliability but the charts are unusable in their current state when late prints are charted in real time. I don't want to wonder if this is going to be handled or not.
Please advise.

P.S. I am a former fully-licensed Merrill stock broker
