Color Bar Not Updating on Historical Indicator Data when Changed

I am using the colour bar on alert to colour an indicator line when it is above 70 or below 30. The problem is that my indicator auto-adjusts to always show the current visible data in the ranged from 0 to 100. This means that the "normalisation" causes the historical values of the indicator to adjust. The problem I am facing is that the color bar indicator that I have added to color the line does not get adjusted and as a result I get a bit of a mess on my screen. The only way to fix it is to refresh the chart with the "insert" key. How can I get the color bar indicator to update correctly? I am attaching images of before and after a refresh. SC Version 2177 running. |

Any update on this? Why does the "Color Bar ..." study not update when the data in the underlying study it refers to changes? |

It is not typical that a study adjusts previous data, therefore the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition does not recalculate the previous data. Refer to the following study to help with this: Chart Recalculation - Periodic For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Can I trigger the recalculation of the Color Bar studies in my code when I have to re-adjust the historical study data? I prefer that than having a refresh based on time which is not efficient. |

Sorry I did not think of it. Refer to the following: ACSIL Interface Members - Variables and Arrays: sc.FlagFullRecalculate For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

John - SC Support) It is a pity that there isn't recalculation function only for one region. |

@Ackin It's also a pity one can't automagically recalculate or reload a study or chart in real-time when the live chart time crosses thru a given Session Time chart setting. (e.g. sc.StartTime1 or sc.StartTime2... or even sc.EndTime1 or sc.EndTime2) |
