Recently I swithced to TransAct with Sierra charts. There is an issue with my charts freezing whenever a live trade is placed and then I have to flatten using the TransAct DOM and restart my computer. A message come up that says "sierra charts has stopped working correctly." I trade off the chart not the DOM. Any direction on how to resolve this issue?

Yes we have been hearing about this lately. This is due to an issue with the TransAct interface software from TransAct. We are working on a solution to this.

Would seem incredible that you would have to restart your computer over this. That would be unlikely. You will only need to restart Sierra Chart.

We have also seen your email messages about this. We believe the solution right now is just for you to update to the current version and you should be fine. We had thought you were on the current version. To update select "Help >> Download Current Version".

There are also additional steps we are taking to ensure there will not be any further problems.

I have downloaded to the 965 version. The freezing issue still happened. I tried re-downloading it and message log said no new download available. I attached log. Also I did mean close and restart charts not reboot computer.

TransAct has provided us new interface software To connect to their systems. According to them this should resolve the problem.

This will be released sometime next week.

If you are using any custom studies, please update to the latest version of Sierra Chart, in case that is the source of the problem.
