I am using VbP study referencing 1 period back, multiple profiles based on fixed time (with fixed time as weeks). On ES futures, I have the POC at 3227 for week beginning 3rd August. The POC has not extended into a VPOC even though price has never traded there (as can be seen on the chart attached here http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1600947103537.png). Is this a problem with data or something else?

Usually when we see something like this it is due to an incorrect Session Time setting. Check to make sure your Session Times are set properly (in particular, that the end session time is just before the start session time - for example: 15:59:59 instead of 16:00:00).

Otherwise, select Edit >> Reload and Recalculate and see if that takes care of it.

If not, then please attach your Chartbook to this thread for us to look at, per these instructions:

I am aware of these issues with session times. It is not that. Reload and recalculate did not work either. I have attached chartbook file as per your instructions.

Thanks,

Here is what we see when we open your chartbook:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1600971283962.png

As you can see, we do not see the same problem you have. But we also notice the data is a little different around that time frame.

We know it is going to take some time, but we really want you to selected Edit >> Delete All Data and Download, as it appears that something is not right with the data, at least in that area.

I have deleted all data and downloaded numerous times (before I have written to support board). This hasn't solved the issue. As for the blank chartbook link, not sure what happened there but I have reattached it - hopefully you can see it.

Thanks

What do you have the time zone in Sierra Chart set to? Refer to:
Time Zone Setting

You must also use a US time zone. You cannot use any other time zone for a US futures contract. You cannot use the London time zone.

You can set a time zone individually on the chart.

Coming back to this problem. Please see attached chart of MTSI. The POC that shows this week is for a price that never even traded last week (I am referencing 1 period back in the settings, using weekly fixed profiles).

What could be the issue?

We would need your chartbook with the chart for MTSI. Refer to the instructions here:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

Also, we need to know what your Global Time Zone is set to.

I have attached. I am using London time zone. My office computer is also set to this but I had different values on it, which seemed to be calculating correctly. My computer at home is what I am having issues with. Deleting all data and downloading doesn't help. The VbP settings are exactly the same. It's strange.

Thanks

We are still looking into the cause. We do see that it is including one extra bar from the period before the prior period. But we have not found the cause yet.
