SC/TT, package 3 with SC Historical, v1089 Non CLR, GC2014-04-CME, historical daily chart, continous contract volume based rollover.

Today's date 2/6/14, high of 1410 on GC, this must be a bad print? Intraday chart shows high of 1267, backup charting source verifies. Tried delete and download data, did not help.

Second recent instance of this data error: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1392954830772.png

Originally, I was able to clear the error only by manually editing the data. Since, I have had this issue again a few times, and need to restart Sierra Chart to clear it, or most recently on the third instance, delete/download data fixed it.

What could be causing this problem, and how it can it be fixed to avoid it?

If there is an error, but not of such a large variance for me to notice, how can I know if my chart is accurate?

We are not observing this error. So must be something temporary coming from the historical daily data. Although we have no evidence of that in our case or from other users.

In any case, refer to help topic 2.2 here:

1. The high value bad print error has been occurring on a consistent basis, perhaps daily, as shown above. It happens in the afternoon/evenings.

2. There is another error where newly formed daily bars at the 6pm ET open incorrectly include the prior day's high/low and show a duplicated new daily bar.

Both of these do not seem to clear using delete/download, until after midnight, unless manually edited. Might be somehow related to session times/date or when daily bars are formed/completed.

Refer to help topic 2.2 here:

There is no further help provide other than what is described in help topic 2. It very thoroughly covers this subject. There is no other help we can provide. Take the time to read through the information because it covers every possible related detail.

Sounds like there is a problem with the data from the trading server you are using which we have no control over.
