Number Bars - Consolidated Price Levels

Dear Support,

Is it possible in the current functionality of the Number Bars to consolidate price levels and their corresponding volume similar to how it's done in the TPO Charts?

For example: I would like to plot my Number Bars Study for NQ displaying each level as consolidated summary of 4 (or larger amount) of ticks to have a zoomed out view of price and volume action.

Because of the incredibly wide ranges (caused by increased volatility) any instrument similar to NQ is practically impossible to read using Number Bars as every candle spans an enormous amount of vertical distance. If I compress the scale to fit the view of the Number Bars on the screen it becomes highly distorted and impossible to read volume levels at each price.

Thank you.

This can be accomplished by changing the Tick Size for the chart. Although this could have other unintended consequences. Refer to the information here:
Chart Settings: Tick Size (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

John, Thank you!

This is an excellent recommendation. Does exactly what I wanted to accomplish!

@User347037, I trade the NQ and have been changing the Tick Size but recently switched to instead changing the Volume at Price Multiplier
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartSettings.html&CAID=default#VAPMultiplier
My observation is it achieves the same impact to the VAP, but it doesn't require me to then change my default scale increment.
Or throw off any calculation based on the chart's tick size.
My 2 cents...

Ochocinco, thank you so much for recommending this alternative method!

Do you find it to be more useful compared to adjusting the tick size? I see only one alternative in using tick size increment as oppose to VAP increment - it allows the VbP study to keep Ticks Per Volume Bar independent from the chart tick size while VAP Multiplier will automatically compress the VbP information.

I will have to run both options side by side to compare which one gives better representation of the traded volume.

Thank you!
