In the screen shot, the Cumulative Profit/Loss column is not reflecting an accurate total. For example in the second row, the Cumulative P/L should be 1.00, but it reads .50 instead. This continues down the whole column. This only happens when I use the "Ignore Quantity" P/L setting, it is accurate if I use any other setting.

Refer to the documentation for that setting here:

Read through the documentation, still can't make sense of it. Looking at the screen shot, I can't figure out how the cumulative P/L is calculated to be .46. Considering commissions are being excluded from the calculation, I don't understand how a odd size number like .46 is even possible to obtain trading ES.

If you add up the P/L column you get 6, which is the correct "Ignore Quantity" value. How that column is being summed to equal .46 is a mystery to me.

That setting does not apply to a cumulative profit/loss calculation. Just simply do not use it. It is not going to work like you expect.

The user is correct, something got corrupted. 10+yr SC user here, really familiar with Chart Trade functions, no longer accurately displays “Points ignore Quantity”. Gives the same result exactly for “Points” (lower case P or upper case P). Used to work correctly. In other words, if I trade a 3 lot of ES and I make 1pt, it reflects that I made 3pts no matter whether I used "Points" or “Points ignore Quantity”. Used to work fine. This is actually a very big deal as I measure performance with points rather than dollars for the trading day. When you get a chance, please see what SC changed where this no longer works. Thanks!

Nothing has changed with this. This is explained in more detail here:
Trade Activity Log: Profit/Loss (P/L) Format

But we did make a mistake about what we previously said. You can use the ignore quantity profit/loss display settings in the Trade Activity Log but there will be accuracy issues with this. The ignore quantity settings do not apply to the Daily PL values within a chart precisely because there will be an inaccurate result.

Same here. Points or Ticks based on one contract with "ignore quantity" is not working anymore in Chart and DOM but still working in Trade Activity Log. Something might have changed since view versions back. Don't know exactly when it changed but I was using reports based on 1 contract since years and it stopped around 1-2 months back.

I need to see points per contract but Points and Points ignore quantity show the exact same amount although I'm trading a few contracts per clip.
