Is it at all possible to use Sierrachart and have all Bracket/ OCO orders placed in Sierrachart held on a server, rather than just in the Sierrachart client, and if so, how?

Yes. This is supported with OEC and CTS T4. Only server-side OCO is supported. Server-side bracket orders are not. Although when the parent order fills on a bracket order, the two children, will be placed into a server-side OCO group.

Thanks. I am not familiar with either of thos (stll quite new to trading). Do OEC and CTS T4 offer data/ clearing feeds only and/ or are they brokers?

My broker is AMP. Is there any way I can do server side OCO using Sierrachart with them as a broker (say using CQG, Rithmic or TTNet as data feed)?

You can find more information about OEC (Open E Cry) and CTS T4 here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/data.php

Also server-side OCO is supported with CQG as well.

Thanks. But my understanding is, that CQG only works in conjunction with your own data service? So i have to subscribe to that, even if I can nornally get CQG data through my broker (who is AMP)?

Can you please confirm?

So if I place a simple bracket order in Sierrachart using say CQG (snd SC data if really needed), then that order is transmitted to a server immediately and held there until order entry and exit fills are executed? If I get disconnected or if I switch off my computer, all these orders will still be there in Sierrachart upon restart of SC, provided they have not been filled/ cancelled in the meantime?

This is a crucial requirement for me and this is why I need to make very sure, before going down this route.

Yes this is correct. AMP is referring to AMP Clearing. You did mention that they are your broker.

For an understanding of how Sierra Chart handles bracket orders, refer to this section here:

Are server side OCO orders also supported if I use the AMP/TTnet combo and then subscribe to the SC data service?
