[Programming Help] - Advanced Custom Study Needs To Be Recompiled To Be Used On This Version 2159

I have a custom study (relatively simple) that I paid a programmer to write for me (since I do not know how to write a program). I updated to the current version today (version 2159) and got the message that the study needs to be recompiled. How can I get help to "recompile" this existing custom study?

Last version I used was version 2128 where the study worked fine.

Thank you for your response. Due to SC changes, I have two custom studies that need to be "recompiled"...I paid a developer to create both of them. One is called "Ask-Bid Score Study" (this is the one you worked on before)...second one is called "Target-Stop Ratio Keeper Study". Can you recompile for both? How do you wish for me to get you the studies and source codes? I can contact you via the SC "Direct Message" as we did before, but I do not see how to attach files via that direct message (and nothing will go thru to the zyp.sierra@gmail.com address). Last time I just uploaded the files via the general SC Support Board, but you mentioned that I probably should not do that again since I paid for them.

Hi, Delete the files above, everyone can see them, this is not private chat communication Your .cpp files send to my email: zyp.sierra@gmail.com with extension .Cpp not .dll Dll is library, Cpp is source code I'll recompile it in the morning (I have a different time zone than you)

Can you recompile for both? Yes (the .dll file no longer works with the current SC version) Yes Sierrachart has made some changes that were announced here in advance on the forum, third-party libraries must be recompiled by all users ... this applies to version 2149,2151,2155,2159 ... I will make you the latest version 2159 but I do not guarantee that there will be no further change in soon. Only SCH Support knows that Last time I just uploaded the files via the general SC Support Board, but you mentioned that I probably should not do that again since I paid for them. Yes, you paid the programmer what he made for you. If you put the source code here on this forum, anyone can download it. That's why I wrote to send it out of a safer way...I'll recompile it for you for free, just like eight months ago at Christmas time :) Terrible how that time runs ... (and nothing will go thru to the zyp.sierra@gmail.com address) You can save the files anywhere in the storage you use and send me just a link to it or via Direct message I can send you access data to my forum again and there I can set up a private folder just for you. Choose what is better for you, write to me via Direct message here on the forum. btw via Direct message you can send the contents of the .cpp file (it will be opened by any text editor) and I can send you back a link to download the already finished library - like last time. Ackin...I sent you a Direct Message yesterday, but I am not sure you got it. You have been a big help. Thanks... I got the study (.dll)....can you Direct Message me a link to the source code file (.cpp)?? I am trying to learn this coding stuff and maybe I can handle problems in the future...maybe...maybe not. I would like the 64 bit version of the source code file for my records. Thanks again....

I would like the 64 bit version of the source code file for my records. It's done, check DM. If you still have access to my forum, you can also download an updated library of studies with 250 studies (including studies for numbersbars). Have a nice day
