Some Daily Bar Missing with SC Stock data

Hi there, I use sierra chart data for stocks, and every morning when I turn sierra chart on, on my daily chart, there’s always a couple bars missing, and i have to do the “delete all data and download” option to get all the bars. During the day whenever I'm switching to a different stock, the same thing happens, which really slows down my execution. I’ve used sierra chart for about 4 years and this only started happening lately. Could you help me to solve this issue please? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like there is some issue with the downloading of historical daily data. We need very precise details about this. We need to see an image of the chart and also the Message Log at the time you notice this. Although as we think about this, in the main instance, if there are no Historical Daily charts open for the symbols which are not updating in a sub instance, then there might not be any periodic Historical Daily downloading which occurs. We think we may have identified why there is an issue but not necessarily. It could explain the chart not having the most current day but not more than one day missing. We will have a new release out tomorrow which may resolve this.

Hi, thanks for your reply.Yes the one i submit is from a sub-instance, but both main instance and sub-instance have the same problem. Today's daily candle is there, but missing previous couple days data, need to do "delete all data and download" to get all the daily bars. Great to hear that, I will test it out with the new release and will let you know if the problem is not resolved.
