Trying to Connect to TopStep Trader T4

Hi,

I am trying to connect to topstep via T4 interface. I am getting this error

Connecting to CTS T4 Live server. | 2013-04-17 09:48:16
CTS T4 Service: Error connecting to CTS T4. Exception message: Error getting server config details. | 2013-04-17 09:48:17
Error connecting to Data or Trading service. For help with this issue, press the Send For Analysis button on this window. | 2013-04-17 09:48:17
To prevent further connection attempts, select File >> Disconnect. | 2013-04-17 09:48:17
Disconnected from CTS T4. | 2013-04-17 09:48:17
Will reconnect to the server in 5 seconds. Select File >> Disconnect to prevent further connection attempts. | 2013-04-17 09:48:17


What should I do to fix this?

I did have TopStep enable Sierra Charts for my account, but it still wont work.

Select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. Set the "Server" to Use Sim Server.

Ok, I got it to login , thx!

however i have it logged into my practice account and my acct balance is not eqaul to what is stated in my practice account in t4

ok, i am able to download chart data fine. However when I do a trade, it is not going to T4. the account number box says [Acct # SIM] . I want to be able to chart trade, how do i set this up correctly?

You need to disable Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode.
