I did not find a native study in sierra capable of doing this, so I thought of using the "color based on above/below study".I referenced the "bid/ask difference bars" study in the settings, applied to region 3 (where the volume bars are), but nothing happens (image attached)

One way is to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study, chartbook attached to demonstrate.

Thanks again for the study collection template.

Dear Lord, what a clunky workaround for something extremely simple... Why make it so complex? A simple option in study settings for coloring of volume would do the trick without all this juggling... There is a study called "Colored-Volume Based On Volume" that I thought it was what I Wanted, but it just color the bars if the volume is higher or lower than previous. They could have added the option of coloring based on dominant bid/ask, simple.
