[User Discussion] - HELP!!! Tool to Search for Stocks that have Specific Price Changes within Trading Day

Hello, hope you're doing good. Hoping someone can help me. I have a question below. Initially I'd like to mention, when I say "Intraday" below, I mean at any point in the trading day. So a stock may have opened at $5.00, went up by 5 cents by 10am, then went down by 10 cents at 11am, then went up by 25 cents by 12pm, and then went down by 25 cents by 1pm. Is there a stock screener or other tool that can search for stocks with the following filters? Does Sierra Chart have this feature? This is for historical data. It is not for live data. I am not searching for end of day prices. A filter where I can enter the amount of intraday change in price EACH day for a period of days, and the system will display all the stocks that experienced this Intraday day change in price. The change in price can be up or down. Example as follows: Let's say I want to view intraday price changes over a 5 day period. If I enter $0.25 cents for intraday price change for a 5 day period, the system will display all stocks that experienced a $0.25 cent intraday price change EACH day of the 5 day period. The change in price can be up or down. As I mentioned earlier, by intraday, I mean at any point in the trading day. So the stock may have opened at $5.00, went up by 5 cents by 10am, then went down by 10 cents at 11am, then went up by 25 cents by 12pm, and then went down by 25 cents by 1pm. So, Monday there was a $0.25 cent change in price at anytime within the trading day, Tuesday there was a $0.25 cent change in price for the same stocks at anytime within the trading day, Wednesday there was a $0.25 cent change in price for the same stocks at anytime within the trading day, Thursday there was a $0.25 cent change in price for the same stocks at anytime within the trading day, and Friday there was a $0.25 cent change in price for the same stocks at anytime within the trading day. Can the tool display the 5 second chart for every day of the 5 day period for the above filter? Example, view Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 5 second charts. Can the tool search stock prices under $20 dollars within the above filter? Can the tool search average volume of stocks to be 1 million in the above filter? Historical data from USA and Canada stock exchanges. Europe and Asia stock exchanges, and others that may be available would be nice to have. Can the tool return extended hours data (Pre-market and Post-Market)? For a 5 second chart … How many days of historical intraday data for each day can I go back for a search. Can I search 5 days back, 10 days back, 1 year back, 5 years back? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
