Hi there,

Is something wrong with the data feed or at the exchange? The tape looks completely wrong and highly unusual.

update:

I just did a delete data and reload and it filled it in to a normal look but the real-time data is again doing the same issue as posted in the screenshot. Something is wrong with the real-time feed at the moment.

You need to roll over to December. Do not chart or trade August at this time.

update:
connected this copy of SC to the live account and now the data is fine. Sierra had been connected to the live account within the past 30 days so not sure why this would have been an issue. Just an FYI

Even if it was a rollover, which I do not believe it is, there would not be this massive discrepancy between the real-time data and the backfill data.

Ok, we apologize you are right.

We did not pay close enough attention to this. Typically something like this is due to looking looking at the inactive contract month. Looking at the first screenshot more closely we can see you are receiving Interactive Brokers data.


We can see just how not good that data actually is.

please read my initial posts and their updates again. They are describing the issue. It is working fine as I would expect for me now, but I had to connect to the real account to get the data right again, and this was well within the once a month 'rule' required to get uninterrupted data.

Yes we understand but apparently the authorization for the real-time CME data ended and you needed to connect to your live IB account which you have done.

Can you please update your installation of Sierra Chart to the current version:

This will ensure you will get 30 days authorized for the CME data at a time.
