Highlight (change) lots in DOM

Assume I use the DOM to place a bid for 2 lots in some market (doesn't matter which).

The 2 lot is working but it's not filled.

If I want to change it to 1 lot I click on the '2' in the DOM order and a box comes up where I can change it. In that box I can also change the price if need be.

Wouldn't it be a good idea if when that box pops up, the '2' is automatically highlighted so I can quickly use my keyboard to a) change to '1' and also use the keyboard to click return. Real quick.

But right now, the '2' is not highlighted so I have to use the mouse to highlight it and then change the value to '1'. This wastes time.

In that popup box the price doesn't have to be highlighted because I can use the mouse to move the order up/down. But I cannot use the DOM to change the quantity. So I reckon few if any use the popup box to change the price when it's so much easier to drag/drop on the DOM.

Something to think about with efficiency in mind.

This previously was the case but it was disabled to isolate an operating system level problem. We will reenable this because we do not think this would cause an issue.

You fixed it last time, thanks, but the problem has come back again.

Assume I work a limit order at 1.3305 for 2 lots.

The order is not filled but I want to change it to 1 lot. In the past I clicked the 2 part of the order (on DOM) and up popped a box with the 2 highlighted. All I had to do is click 1 on my keyboard and then return. Both quick and efficient.

But with the latest software update, the box still pops up (although on an unrelated monitor to the one the DOM is on) and I have to then highlight the order box and enter 1.

All of the above creates extra clicks and time when there's no need to.

The order quantity is the important one, as if I want to move the order up/down I just drag/drop, no need for that box to appear.

Thanks.

PS. Also, on the new order box window that pops up there's a +/- button.

But when I clicked the minus button expecting the volume to move to 1 (from 2), it went to 10. When I tested it out to move the 2 lot to 3 via clicking the plus button, it also went to 10.

This is for LMAX.

Thanks

The order modification dialog should show beside the quantity button on the order line. If not can you provide a screenshot of where you see it?

But when I clicked the minus button expecting the volume to move to 1 (from 2), it went to 10. When I tested it out to move the 2 lot to 3 via clicking the plus button, it also went to 10.
You need to change the default order quantity through Global Symbol Settings:

I've fixed the default order quantity problem as per your advice, thanks.

Where the pop-up box appears is not that important. What is important is the quantity is not highlighted so instead of 3 clicks/moves 1) click the quantity in the DOM, 2) type 1 (changing order from 2 to 1), and then 3) clicking Return, I now click the quantity in the DOM, then have to move my mouse over to the pop-up box, then use the mouse to double click to highlight the quantity, then click 1, then return.

It was working perfectly before, now it still works of course but instead of it being quick and efficient, it's slow and non-efficient.

Thanks for looking into the problem.
