I have a situation I can't explain. Cell J29 simply will not flatten & cancel, period. No automation here, I am literally typing a 1 in the field, with an open trade during replay, and nothing happens. There is also no value in J27 or J28.

Can anyone think of a scenario that would cause J29 to simply not work at all? J85 (Allow trading only within certain times) is also FALSE. I'm stumped.

SC Version 2124.

- J28 is TRUE/1
- You need to recalc, or use Replay to cause a chart update.
- You're not on the sheet that is associated with the chart with the open position.

Thanks, unfortunately none of those is the case. Any other ideas?

Trade>>Auto Trading Enabled - Global and Tade>>Auto Trading Enabled - Chart should both be checked.

Yep it's enabled. Everything else about auto trading works except this one thing.

UGH I feel so stupid. "Send Orders To Trading Service" had gotten enabled, maybe by accident or maybe while troubleshooting something else. Of course since I'm on SIM, it prevents autotrading from working but gives you absolutely no indication. Nothing in any log anywhere, etc. I actually have set up an alert condition to show me when this setting is enabled, but I was ignoring it! Not a terribly effective alert, apparently! SIGH.

Did you see this message in the Windows Message Log?

SendOrdersToTradeService is not consistent with 'Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On' setting. Order action ignored.

Nope I sure don't. I had scoured all the logs and found nothing.
