How to setup/save chartbooks for sharing

Dear Support,

When I share chartbooks with others, I always make sure to *not* select/disable 'Use Global Graphics Settings...' in the Chart -> Graphics Settings for each individual charts and DOMs in a chartbook.
Until now this worked well and guaranteed that the users see the same colors/settings, no matter how their Global Graphics settings are configured.

With the newer versions - can not tell exactly when it started, but surely with v2124 and v2125 - when a user newly loads the chartbook, all charts have the 'Use Global Graphics Settings' enabled. This overrides most/all of the graphics settings related color customizations.

It does not help if the user turns off the 'Use Global' option, the charts do not revert back to the colors I set. The individual settings should be manually adjusted after reloading the chartbook into SC (File -> Open Cht).

Unfortunately I am not able to replicate this behavior locally when copying chartbooks between my own instances, but I have been able to confirm/see this today while I was giving remote assistance to a user.

The problem exists even when the same SC version is used to create the chartbook and on the user's computer.

Can you please advise on how can I fix/overcome this when setting up my chartbooks?
I want make sure the user gets the same color scheme that I create.

Thanks in advance.

Just to add to this I have replicated this by copying a chart from one instance to a sub instance on my own end. Sometimes it is just a few settings that revert to global settings (i.e. candlestick outline and bar high/low width). For me I have been experiencing this ever since the new chartbook format was introduced.

User472511 - thanks for confirming. Yes the components you mention always revert back to global settings.

Not sure why this is happening but we will implement a change in the next release to definitively resolve.

Can you please drop a line here, once you applied the change/fix in the next release? I just want to make sure to not publish anything publicly before that. Thank you.

We are really not totally sure if we have the issue resolved since it is not something that is making sense to us. Although it should be resolved. We are releasing 2126 in about 30 minutes.

Thank you and no problem at all, I'll check and let you know if it still exist. I can also provide example chartbooks and screenshots if needed (in case if the issue will still exist).

There is no need to provide any files or screenshots. Just let us know if you still see a problem.

Updated to the v2126 and the same problem exists:

When a user loads a chartbook, some Chart Graphics settings revert back to the user's SC global graphics settings, even though the 'Use Global Graphics Settings' option is not enabled.

There may be other grpahics settings as well, that are affected by this problem (I'm not sure about that), but the Bar/Candle color/width related settings surely revert back to the user's default.

Edit: at some users the chart text and scale border colors revert back to global SC default as well.

We now understand why this happens when sending a Chartbook to other users and you do not notice any change in colors. This will be solved in the next release.

The Chartbook file size optimization that we were employing, fundamentally cannot be used for the reason that users can have different global color settings. So that has to be removed.

Update to version 2127 again. It has been revised. This definitely should be resolved.

You can also tell because the Chartbook size becomes larger after saving it. It is still small because it is compressed but it is larger. It will be about twice the size.
