Hello, Perhaps it makes sense to start a separate thread. I appreciate your help. Your software is excellent. Here is the main long term issue. I have over 500 symbols categorized in various quote sheets. I trade primarily with Ib. However Ib has symbol limits, api throttling limits, data is sampled every 259 ms and so on. The point is that Ib has numerous issues. Trading is a business and it is important to keep the cost low. Ameritrade works great because it has none of the limitations of IB. What do you suggest? Do you interface with any other stock broker? What are your plans to support stock traders? |

I Understand it is SC position to not support other stock brokers, but I too would like to see TD Ameritrade supported. JohnR |

Ameritrade support is definitively never going to come. We are not going to suffer over login problems with their more complex login method. That is totally and completely out of the question. We are not going to waste our lives and valuable time on constant login problems with Ameritrade. We have had enough of that trash. That is long behind us. It is never never never going to happen. So the simple fact of it is is, Sierra Chart is not going to support Ameritrade any longer and we have terminated technical support for Interactive Brokers and we are not going to do anything further with them (gratefully). Hello, Your frustration with ib and amtd is understandable. Your present package is not competitive and too expensive. we need better pricing not only for a large number of symbols but also for multiple computers. You do have a lot of stock traders. We all would like to stay with sc. Thank you for working on a better price arrangement. Many of us have been loyal long time subscribers to sc. Also many of us have put in considerable amount of effort in developing custom studies and setting up sc. Stock traders have done this in good faith because you were supporting Ameritrade and IB. Just like your time is valuable, time of the traders who are your customers is also valuable. There is urgency for you to share with stock traders more details and expediting the time frame. It is worth repeating that better pricing needs to allow for large number of symbols as well as multiple computers. Do you plan to work with any stock broker? you say next year, are you going to support ib until then. how will direct routing work? who will clear? Where will the funds be held? You have way too many questions and too much of an expectation with all of this. And what you fail to understand, is we are not a broker and have no source of income from you from trading. Therefore, we cannot simply take your trading commission money, and pay for the data like Interactive Brokers and Ameritrade can do. We do not have that income from you!! With what you want, a price of 110 USD a month which covers US stock market real-time data, historical data, *and* exchange fees on 2 systems simultaneously is a fair price. We have to pay over 15,000 a month for access to that data. If you do not even want to pay 100 USD, please go elsewhere. We definitively cannot help you. We are not going to go lower than that for market data for 500 symbols on 2 systems simultaneously with what we have to pay for that data. If you want data on one system a price of 55/month can be done. And that is a ridiculously low number for 500 symbols for real-time US equities data including exchange fees. That is rock-bottom and would only go up. We simply cannot answer these questions at this time because they are unknown to us: There is urgency for you to share with stock traders more details and expediting the time frame.
