I checked with recent 2 days 5-min chart, in 5-min chart they did have opening gaps. But in daily chart,it shows the gap has been filled and today's open is exactly yesterday's close. So did I missing some setting in chart setting? Thank you!

Here is the 5-min chart page. You could clear see there is gap between day1 and day2. So in daily chart,it should have been clear gap between 2 days.

Here is the daily chart page.First bar is Day1 and the second bar is Day2.

So may I wonder is there any setting in daily chart that request to fill the gap between 2 bars? I may choose it by mistake.

Thanks!

for your Daily Chart try using an Intraday Chart with regular Session Times

Chart Settings>>Main Settings; "Intraday Chart" Bar Period "Days-Mins-Secs-Per Bar" "1-0-0"

Put in regular session "Start Time" and "End Time" and leave "Evening Session" unchecked

This is how the FXCM Historical Daily price data is.

The suggestion given in post #4 is a way around this.
