Hi
One of the biggest hassles I have is getting people to try and cancel the login window so they can change accounts. Long ago you provided a means to log out, so you could easily use the log in window - why did you remove that and can we have that back please!

This never existed.

What we can do is increase the delay before there is an automatic Login to give them more time to use the Cancel button on the Login window.

Oh there was definitely a 'show login window on restart' option some years ago! I was frequently telling our users where to find it. However it disappeared in an update and I never bothered to raise the issue. Now we are constantly getting people who say they can't get get the right charts or whatever and I see they've been automatically logged in with an old account. Some of these over 70s struggle to catch the cancel button in the 3 seconds or so they have so if that can be extended just a few seconds more that would be great.

Yes thinking about this before we read your latest post, we have a vague memory of what you are referring to. That was a long time ago. Would seem like probably at least 10 years ago.

Anyway we will increase the delay to 5 seconds and additionally if they start editing the account name or password fields, that will also cancel the automatic login.
