Im using an alert to display the slope of a moving average at certain triggers. The issue im having is the actual printing of the alert text along the MA seems to be random, eg some prints are right along the line and then the next print will appear on the other side of the line for no apparent reason. Is there any way to fix this so the text prints follow the line consistently?

It is not recognizable from the picture which Drawstyle you use for outputting numbers. It's just about formatting the output. What do you use? Or better ...send the image Tab "Settings and Inputs" from Color bar study

What I was trying to do is display the slope of a 2 MA histogram, with the slope printing at the top/bottom of each histogram bar. I have it all setup, but the text prints along the centerline of the histogram rather than at the top of each bar. I have tried Value on High/Low, Top of Bar/Bottom of Bar, but when I do that the text disappears.

hmmm ... I understand .... Previously I thought you were using the graph as one curve from the two .... If these are two different MAs, then I don't see the possibility in the settings themselves of how to do it using the default study in the sierrachart.

If you have access to the CZSK forum, you can download a study for it

Study: Study Subgraph Reference with dynamic position

If you want a native solution without a study, just wait to see if anyone has an idea.
