Made two trades a short while ago and:

OCO target order did not get placed, only the stop

Web Panel disconnected me from the server and would not let me reconnect. When I tried, it just took me to the Account Control Panel

Still in one trade

Okay, that didn't go well, so I'm flat.

But these recurring Denali problems are very disconcerting.

And trying to use Web Panel on my phone, but attempts to connect to Server 2 just comes back as False.

We will check on this but this must have been a rejection for some reason. We will check.

As we suspected your target was rejected for a specific reason:

ActivityType  DateTime  Symbol  OrderActionSource  InternalOrderID  OrderStatus  ServiceOrderID  OrderType  Quantity  BuySell  Price  Price2  FillPrice  FilledQuantity  TradeAccount  OpenClose  ParentInternalOrderID  PositionQuantity  FillExecutionServiceID  HighDuringPosition  LowDuringPosition  Note  AccountBalance
Order  2020-05-28 20:11:27.646  MESM20_FUT_CME  TT order update (Rejected). Text: Unsupported order type. | SenderSubID: **  1520435  Error  74466f00-ffa2-48bd-8f3d-1f12dd3c09de  Market if Touched  2  Sell  3037.75        ***  Close  1520434          Attached order. Parent: 3136

This is an exchange level reject. You cannot use a server-based Market if Touched order. Instead it needs to be client-side:
Order Types: Market if Touched - Client

Regarding the web trading panel issue, we will look into that but understand that's not something you need to go to, in a case like this. that is there for mobile access, or if you lose your Internet connectivity to your main trading computer.

But these recurring Denali problems are very disconcerting.
The service we offer is stable and reliable. The incident yesterday was short duration and isolated. And the portions of it that were related to Sierra Chart specifically, were resolved. Although we are still waiting to hear from TT about why that 2 minute interruption occurred.

And also, we would like to be supporting server-side market if orders, it is one of the things we will eventually get to, maybe, but a major issue is that this carries a cost of 18,000 USD per year to be paid to the CME just to use the market data in a "nondisplay use" way.

Does that make any sense? No it does not.

You were disconnected from the web based trading panel as we were updating the panel at that time.

Okay, things are slowly becoming clear.

I didn't realize that server-side MITs were not supported by the CME without paying additional big bucks. I use MITs all the time and never got a rejection when I was going through Rithmic, so I guess Rithmic is paying the big bucks to CME! :) However, I do hope you find a way to support server-side MITs sometime this year. BTW, since SC is configured for "server-side if supported," rather than completely reject the order when not supported, shouldn't SC automatically revert to a client-side order, and then give the user some kind of a notification? Or not?

In fact, now that I think of it, the problems I had earlier this week, where the orders I was trying to place by clicking on the DOM columns never got placed, I have the DOM order setup for Stops and MITs and it was the MITs that never made it through. Now it makes sense. Guess I'll have to change my order setup to Limits, and when the market opens again, I'll place some orders way above and way below the market just to see if they go through.

I don't use my phone for trading; however, I want to stay logged in to Web panel in case I lose my computer/power/Internet. In fact, along with SC, I remain logged in to Web panel on my PC and on my phone, just in case. It was my understanding that I could remain logged into Web panel on multiple devices simultaneously without issue. Is that correct? If not, I'll do whatever is acceptable.

Anyway, thanks for checking on my issues and getting back to me.

George

Yes this is correct.

And yes we do plan to add market if touched orders support on the server. This will happen when the direct CME order routing is available.

So they'll change stops to stop limits but won't do a market if touched unless they get paid. lol This is stuff you don't learn in sim.
