Good afternoon!
Bar Difference
How to calculate the average value High-Low (Bar Difference) for the last 8 bars?
Can it be plotted in chart?

Can you clarify what is being asked?
Are you wanting to see the rolling average of the highest high and lowest low over the last 8 bars?
(HH+LL)/2

No - we are talking about price volatility: high - low.
For example: the volatility of the eighth bar from the current = 12, the seventh bar = 8, the sixth bar = 14 ..... And then the average volatility = 11.

(H8-L8)+(H7-L7)+(H6-L6)+(H5-L5)+(H4-L4)+(H3-L3)+(H2-L2)+(H-L)/8

(H8-L8)+(H7-L7)+(H6-L6)+(H5-L5)+(H4-L4)+(H3-L3)+(H2-L2)+(H-L)/8
I think it is more appropriate to use Study Subgraphs Difference and modify its result by "Based On" by studying Moving average - simple ..... or better by Linear regression

Study Subgraphs Subtract/Difference
Moving Average - Simple

if you include gaps among Close / Open bars as True range, then it's basically a classic ATR
Average True Range

note
if you like math and are looking for a deeper essence and a slope of volatility, you can add a cumulative sum of the difference in bar size

(H8-L8)+(H7-L7)+(H6-L6)+(H5-L5)+(H4-L4)+(H3-L3)+(H2-L2)+(H-L)/8
The Average Daily Range study will do this.

More specifically, it does this when set to Length of 8:
((H[-7]-L[-7]) + (H[-6]-L[-6]) + (H[-5]-L[-5]) + (H[-4]-L[-4]) + (H[-3]-L[-3]) + (H[-2]-L[-2]) + (H[-1]-L[-1]) + (H-L))/8

Its name should more accurately be Average Bar Range.

Is it possible to display a BarDifference/AverageDailyRange on a chart?

Use the Study Subgraphs Divide/Ratio study.

You could also compute an 8 period moving average of the high and low, then subtract those two values.
