Hi everyone,

A study that works correctly in 963 stopped working in 965. It looks to be related to GetTradingDayStartDateTimeOfBar.
In 965, the method consistently returns -9.2559592131366316e+061

Any ideas?

Did you recompile on 965? Make sure you are using the latest header file.

Recompile looks to solve the issue.
1. I am assuming that all DLL's that use this method need to be upgraded with 965?
2. Are there other methods would require a recompile?

It would appear so but we are not sure why.

If you are using other functions which take a Date-Time value or return one, then you may need to recompile those studies as well.

If that's the case, and I am not sure you can do this, but I suggest you have a note and even a warning in the application that existing dll needs to be recompiled. DateTime based methods are quite common.

This would be very hard to implement in this particular case and this problem is completely unexpected. A recompile should not be necessary.

We will mention that a recompile is apparently necessary on the What's New page.
