I understand that SC support does not wish to field questions regarding Interactive Brokers data, but hoping other SC users might be familiar with these issues. All questions are related to Intraday data, NOT daily. After many hours trying to implement the IB True Real Time Data (TRTD) feed with 5 second delay, carefully following SC's step by step implementation, I still cannot resolve these issues: 1. the streaming data from IB is updating much more frequently than once every 5 seconds - does this indicate that the TRTD is not being used (in spite of the fact that "Record True Real Time Data in Intraday Charts" is marked "True")? 2. volume for the past 15 minutes and further back is wrong, very low, until I delete and reload all data, a timely process. This also indicates that TRTD has not been implemented. I don't understand though why the volume further back than 15 minutes is incorrect since it should be based on SC data (I use package 3 and have checked "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds per instructions.) When using Sierra Chart Service Package 3 or 5, Historical Daily price data for major futures contract symbols, cash indexes and US stocks, is downloaded from the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service. When using those Service Packages and Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is enabled, then historical Intraday data for major futures contract symbols and US stocks is downloaded from the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service except for the most recent 10 to 15 minutes which will come from the Interactive Brokers system. This greatly reduces the problems with historical data from Interactive Brokers since that data is not used. Therefore, use Service Package 3 or 5 when using Interactive Brokers. 3. When I delete and download Intraday data, I am limited to 30 second intervals and higher, though IB TRTD is in 5 second intervals and Sierra Intraday data 1 tic intervals. Charts are limited to 30 second intervals or higher, regardless of settings in chart parameters. Any assistance would be very much appreciated from others that may have seen and solved these issues.
