Hi,

I draw a horizontal line at a price level from midnight (00:00) of May 18 to midnight (00:00) of May 19 when chart was in Daily Bar period. When I switch Bar period to be less than a day (for example 4 hours) the line starts from noon (12:00pm) instead of midnigth (00:00). In drawing properties Anchors are set to midnight. See attached screen shot

That probably does make sense. You really need to draw the line originally on the Intraday chart at the times where you want the anchor points.

I am software engineer myself. I am not clear what part makes sense. Anchor points shows midnight when it is actually noon. How does it make sense?

This is because the line was originally drawn on a Historical Daily Chart. So Sierra Chart is using the middle time of the day as the time when mapping to an Intraday Chart since the intent is not necessarily to anchor it the beginning of the day.

I think SC should let user to make the ultimate choice where he wants to anchor a draw, with default anchor being noon. This way the software is more flexible.
