Detatched trade window steals focus when trade initiated on DOM

In setting up my workspace, I prefer to have the trade window detatched from my DOM. The problem is, when I trigger a trade via hotkey in the DOM, the focus moves to the trade window and does not stay on the DOM. In some cases this causes other hotkeys, to fail because they expect to interact with the DOM (specifically hitting the END key). Is there a way to get the DOM to always retain focus even when the Trade Window is detatched?
