when data/trade service is set to SC Data-All Services, prices displayed for J6 are off by 2 decimal places. when data/trade service is set to CQG, prices for J6 are correctly displayed.

if i want to have J6 prices correctly displayed on SC Data-All Services, i have to change the price display format from 0.00001 to 0.0000001, tick size from 0.00005 to 0.0000005, and change both historical and real-time price multipliers from 1 to 0.01.

likewise with CME Futures Options when data/trade service is set to SC Data-All Services, the default numbers for price display format, tick size, historical price multiplier, and real-time price multiplier are all wrong. they should be 0.01, 0.05, 0.01, 0.01, respectively if you want to display the correct prices.

yes yes i understand i can simply configure these myself to have them correctly displayed but you are doing a disservice by providing the wrong prices by default. people shouldn't have to be wasting time during the weekend to go through your extensive documentation for something so so so basic.

Your conclusion is not entirely correct, the price format you see is what is used by Barchart and their historical Daily Price data which we use in this particular case. This is not something we are going to change.

These are determined from the CME security definition data. They could not be wrong.

I've also had to deal with this with some of my clients.
