1.) If one DOES have a funded account with a Rithmic/Dorman broker but, for now, is doing only "Simulation Mode" trading (no live trading), would you say it is necessary to download and save the new "rim_ssl_cert_auth_params" file to SC:"Rim".

2.) Should I wait until the end of May to do this, if you say it is necessary, or is it OK to just do it now and get it done.

3.) It sure sounds as if it would be better for me to switch to SC-All Services for all my live data and trading, either simulated or real (starting soon). Could I make that switch inside of SC through my account control panel or will it require going through my broker first?

4.) If I can switch within SC, how can I accomplish this?

1. Yes.

2. Please do it as soon as you can. Or if you decide to switch, nothing to do.

Hi User68474, thank you for your time on the phone

The required Rithmic TLS Certificate file is attached here.
New TLS Certificate for Rithmic Needed After May 30, 2020. | Post: 218116

Save this file into the \Rim subfolder within the Sierra Chart installation folder. This is usually going to be C:\SierraChart\Rim. Replace the existing file that is there.

You can begin to use this file now to support connecting to Rithmic after May 30, 2020. So the certificate is valid at this time and also after that date.

Should I first Delete the existing "Rim" file before pasting the new one in, or should I copy and paste first, then Delete? Or just copy and paste and leave the old one in?

Just copy and paste. If it overwrites, then that is fine. Otherwise, just leave the old one there.
