[User Discussion] - Orders - Can Target Order and Stop Loss Order Offset Ratio Be Automatically Adjusted?

I have been using the attached order feature within SC. Once my entry order is filled, a target order is placed with a stop loss order. I input the offsets/ticks within the SC trade window and everything works fine. But, I have been manually adjusting the target and stop orders independently of each other as the trade progresses. I wonder if there is a way that I can simply adjust one of the orders (e.g., the stop order) and the other order automatically adjusts so that the original offset ratio is continuously maintained. For example, if I have a target at 20 ticks and a stop loss at 10 ticks (a 2:1 ratio)....is there a way that I can adjust the target further away from the fill price and the stop loss order automatically adjusts so that the 2:1 ratio is constantly maintained? Opposite could also occur....move stop loss order closer (or further) from entry level and the target will automatically adjust so that the 2:1 ratio is constantly maintained? If the original target was 20 ticks and stop loss was 10 ticks and I move the target to 40 ticks...is there a way to set up SC trading so that the stop loss order would automatically adjust to the 2:1 ratio...and would change from the original 10 ticks to 20 ticks (in this example)?

I would think you could make a trading study to do that.

Use a tag to check for new orders and save price values to persistent variables.
Save the persistent variables ratio to another persistent variable.
Check if any price changes occur to open orders.
Adjust other order to ratio variable.
