Documented: Run Sierra Chart on GNU/Linux, BSD, and Mac OS X using Wine SC Engineering no longer recommend Linux. Perhaps try xfreerdp or remmina on Linux connecting to a Windows Server cloud instance?

LucentTrader - everything you need to run SC on Linux is described here: Linux T44 - Re SC Engineers do not recommend Linux: it is a quite steep statement. Using the exact same hardware configuration, SC runs more smoothly on Linux/Wine than on any Win OS. It is like cabriolet cars - they run better without windows...

as ticinotrader mentioned...linux/wine is working really well. Frankly much better than on windows 10 for me. My production trading platform is Mint Linux/wine. I always identify issues on Wine first and then duplicate on Windows 10 every time so support has actionable examples. Hopefully, someday, SC will have a native Linux version but until then Wine is working better than Windows 10!

Does Sierra have plans for running on Linux? I think it was planned years ago, but it never delivered, I don't think you should make plans counting on it. Especially now since SC seems focused on other areas. But before you discard it, you should try it through wine and make up your own mind. Although remember, SC does not support it, so any problem you are on your own ( although here the linux community will help ). In my experience, I can backup etrader and ticinotrader claims.

In response to post #8, refer to: I was aware that you were refactoring code...for some years now, but I got the idea that you were focusing on other areas, especially the feeds and routing. Glad that I was wrong and Linux client is still planned.
