Hi,

I have couple of charts and I have a simple condition on those that allow me to color the background behind the Candlesticks (main price graph). I would like fetch those colored areas and bring them all together onto a higher time frame chart.

In the documentation, it is suggested that I use the "Study Overly - OHLC" study:

If you are trying to overlay the results of the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition or the Color Bar Background on Alert Condition study from one chart on to another chart, inherently that is not reliable using the Study/Price Overlay study. There is a solution to this and the method is documented on the Study Overlay - OHLC study page.

However, I was not able to visualize the colored background sections from the shorter time frame onto the longer time frame. It seems like the "Study Overly - OHLC" study is expecting OHLC data. I guess I'm missing something.

Could you please help me with this issue.

I kind of ended up solving this by fetching the various data bits from the different time-frame charts by referencing them, into the main chart and ended up running the conditional expression in there, instead trying to fetch the colour areas from the lower time-frame charts.
