What is the best way for a limit entry order to follow a subgraph line. An example of this would be a moving average, once the buy entry triggers, the limit entry order then follows the moving average until filled. I have seen the limit chase order functionality, but I need some help on understanding the best way to configure it to meet the requirement above.

There is not a way to do exactly this. You need to use an automated trading study to submit the order at the time you want it filled. The most simplified way is to use this study: Trading System Based on Alert Condition Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
