Hi, So I am using this study and looking at Volume/NumberTrades alert >=X to color a bar realtime and have it stayed colored (i.e this ratio will fluctuate up and down according to the time period set, close can be <X but at any point I want it colored if condition NumTrades>= x hits) The alert itself is working because I am outputting it to alert manager. However, the coloring of a bar does not work, even when I have evaluate on bar close unchecked. Please advise. Need this one will save me a lot of time trying to make things down manually. Cheers, W

This formula alerts and colors the bars: =V/NT>1.5 What formula are you using?

I am not using the spread sheet, I am just using that study volume/numtrades, I think it returns a whole number so I don't think it's catching the decimal correct me if I am wrong. I went V/NT>= 3 Sometimes it will spike to 3, but close at say 2. Cheers

What you want to do is not possible with Simple Alerts or a spreadsheet study. Capturing an intrabar event and making it persistent can only be done with a custom ACSIL study. Maybe user @Ackin can help you.

btw. I also made a version where you can see the progress in the region if you want some modification in it then write me directly into the forum to the study, these are 20 minute projects, I do not know the specific needs of each user, just I make a universal and easy solution.
