First, follow the instructions here to get the Market Depth Historical Graph on your chart:
Market Depth Historical Graph: Step by Step Instructions

Then set the input for Show Quantity Numbers to In Bars. Refer to the information here:

HI

I have added it on step by step and even changed the study to show quantity in bars. However it is still not being placed in a separate window it attaches it self to the window i have already have open and i can only see it with candles not just the blocks and price moving from block to block.

Yes, that is correct. The study is added to the chart that you are viewing at that time. It does not put it in a separate chart/window. If you do not want the candles to display, then select Chart >> Graph Draw Type >> Blank.

Was just looking for a heatmap as well and found this thread. Unfortunately it looks like there was a miscommunication on what was being asked for. The "heatmap" that the Market Depth Historical Graph gives, I believe is not what was being asked for and is also not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for what is commonly referred to as a "heatmap" in the tock trading world, specifically something like this:

I'm fairly sure this isn't a feature in SC at this time but if I'm right... is there any chance something like this could be added? And if I'm wrong, how would I go about generating this sort of view of an index?
