Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

If you still have a problem follow the instructions here:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data

I have this exact same issue. It all started on the 29th of Feb or the leap day. I've tried all the solutions with the exception of rolling back the software version. It should be noted that all data is there you can drag the window and see the prior data but you cannot compress it to see more than a 2 days at the maximum even though there is 30 days of data present.

It does not sound like there is any real problem being described at post #4.

If there are 30 days of data loaded in the chart and you reduce the bar spacing and can only then see two days at a time, that does not sound like an issue. You just need to increase the chart bar timeframe.

Please see the graphic provide above by the first poster. That is what we are seeing prior to the 29th of February everything worked fine. I've attached an image as you can see the spacing has been reduced to 0 So there is a real problem that has only recently occurred.

There definitely is no problem here. As long as those bars are a 2.5 range, then the chart is fine.

There definitely is a problem there! If you use bars like in the 2.5 range the most your software will allow you to compress it is like the first poster and I stated about 2 days. If I increase that range to the 4.5 range then we can get 5 days. Obviously with all the market activity over the past week the software is not capable of displaying that much data. Please view the first image again and note the range setting, then compare to the second. Unless there is some setting that we are missing when the market is extremely active.

View at 4.5 range:

So why is there a problem? There just simply is not. You cannot reduce the bar spacing lower than 0 and cause the bars to overlap. We think this is the basic misunderstanding. Every bar takes one pixel in the chart. The more bars, the less that can be displayed.

There simply is no other answer.

Obviously you just get it. It worked up until 3-1-20 then it stopped working. I could make you a youtube video and show you but I'm afraid the concept is beyond your comprehension. As you said there simply no other explanation! As I've pointed out to what has happened. Thanks for the great customer service!

Your statements are just simply not valid. If there are more bars due to a particular set bar range and greater movement in the market, that would be the reason for the change since there are more bars.

To say that it has "stopped working" because something has changed in Sierra Chart or it is not working right is completely untrue.

And yes our technical support is absolutely superb. If you are looking for the ability to compress bars further and have them overlap, just by reducing bar spacing and creating a negative spacing, maybe we could implement that, but it does have complications.
