Hi,

What is the data service configuration for the improved IB data processing in SC 964? Should I save data in 1 tick or 1 second time unit? Do I still record True Real-Time data and use trade simulation?

Thanks,
LG

These changes have not been released yet. We are still working on them.

And also, you need to use whatever settings work best for you. We cannot answer these questions. you just have to use the settings that make sense and make your own observations.

From what we can see, Interactive Brokers has 3 different kinds of data feeds. All of which have their own kinds of behaviors. All of this is really quite disorganized on the part of Interactive Brokers. We do not know which one is better than the other, what the result will be for each symbol , and over a period of time. So you can see, it is impossible for us to really make any comments on these questions.
